City Academy Students perform at Princes Trust Awards Evening

After impressing everyone at the Princes Trust Mosaic Regional Networking event back in July this year, three students from City Academy were requested to showcase their talents once again at the Princes Trust Central Awards Evening. This was yet another amazing opportunity for the students to display their excellence to their wider community.

Founded by HRH The Prince of Wales, Mosaic inspires young people from deprived communities to realise their talents and potential. Mosaic’s mentoring programmes in schools are delivered by volunteers and lift the aspirations of young people and close the gap between those aspirations and their attainment.

All three of the students performances were outstandingly passionate, personal experiences, that were bravely shared with an audience above their peer group.  The event took place at Birmingham City University’s Millennium Platform Theatre. The students were also invited to meet the range of award winners that had taken part in other programs that the Princes Trust Mosaic runs, recognising their achievements, experiences, and journeys.
